(circa 1951) At age 17 I appeared in a Coronet Instructional Film - "How to Say No - Moral Maturity"

I had acted in Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, The Gondoliers" at Oak Park River Forest High School.   A classmate, Charron Follett (Traut) had been in these instructional films produced for schools. and I think passed on my name to them.  I got a message asking if I could come up to their studios in Glenview, IL. "YES."
When I got there they told me I had to shave the fuzz off my face, and gave me a razor which I had never ever used before. Then I was cast as a kind of juvenile delinquent in this movie. (at seconds at 1:21 to 1:30 seconds)
I got paid, and the $10.00 paycheck deducted 10¢, which was my first SOCIAL SECURITY contribution. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtQ-cUVEOQY
